Low res atmospheric view of RAN 817 Squadron Sea King Mk50a N16-100 WA788 Code 902 Callsign Shark 02, taken at HMAS Albatross/ NAS Nowra YSNW on 06Oct1986. The Helicopter was displaying the large brightly illuminated RAN Ensign (as an external slung load) to the crowd during the RAN 75th Anniversary Airshow at HMAS Albatross. Sadly, Shark 02 crashed on Nias Island Indonesia on 02Apr2005. The crash claimed the lives of 9 ADF personnel, but two passengers survived.
