[1600px] The lovely "Uniform Zombie" of Condor taxies towards the gate after arriving from FRA as DE2346 for the last time! Unfortunately Condor ceased their flights at Fortaleza, after 5 years of operations. A very sad moment, as the Condor 767 was a much loved visitor to our city. I've wanted to catch this particular 767 for a while! D-ABUZ suffered an incident which could have been a horrible accident: back in 1992, while departing Porlamar (PMV) in Venezuela, the crew of this 767 executed a wrong turn instead of maintaning runway heading. The left wing hit a mast on the top of a 3000ft mountain, and received substantial damage. The crew managed to return to the airport and none of the 263 POB were injured. After the incident, some crewmembers nicknamed this 767 as the "Uniform Zombie", as a reference to the registration and to the incident. Now that's some scary stuff!!!
