Nose section on display at Imperial War Museum London. Built by Metropolitan-Vickers at Manchester, “Old Fred” served with No. 467 Sqn. RAAF between Nov. 1943 and June 1944, flying 49 sorties with the squadron. It was transferred thereafter to 1651 Heavy Conversion Unit for aircrew training and struck off charge on Oct. 4, 1945.
