South African Airways (SAA) needed a widebody with hot-and-high capabilities, this is why they ordered A300B2K-3C with Krueger flaps on leading edge. First flight November 2 1976 with Airbus Industrie F-WUAU test registration, delivered December 22 as ZS-SDB. Seen here as taxiing in to the gates after landing. To Onur Air of Turkey November 24 2001 as TC-ONY. Stored Istanbul (Sabiha Gökcen?) January 2006 and reportedly scrapped since. Scanned from an old slide.
