One of the last Tu-134s built. Delivered new Syrianair 1984 as YK-AYE. There is a long history of the Hungarian-Syrian Aviation Convention, which resulted the dense appearance of Syrianair’s Caravelle aircraft in Budapest in the 1970s. They were changed for Tu-134s in the 1990s. Sadly they disappeared in the 2000s. Seen this beauty taxiing out RWY31L to take-off for Damascus. Scanned from an old slide.
