The first widebody of the Hungarian Aviation. MALEV started with New York, Toronto and Bangkok with this beauty, later scheduled flight to Beijing and charters to Osaka, Port Louis of Mauritius, etc. The pride of MALEV. First flight January 18 1993 with Boeing N6009F test registration. Delivered MALEV – Hungarian Airlines April 30 1993 as HA-LHA. Seen here at Terminal 2A taxiing in after landing RWY13L. ‘Aladar’ was serving MA routes for nearly fifteen years, then was sold to VARIG December 23 2007 as PR-VAC. May 8 2010 to GOL Transportes Aereos. WFU and stored as N48AQ November 2011. Scanned from an old slide.
