Preparing to cast off. This Beaver was built in 1961 and delivered to the Ghana Air Force, registered G-213. It seems to have made its way to the USA around 1974, being civil registered as N37772. In 1976 it came to Australia, being re-registered as VH-IMR on 17 September that year. It was later re-registered again as VH-AAM(3) on 13 April 1992 and named 'Caledonia' after one of the old Empire flying boats that used to operate out of Rose Bay.
