The Fuel Guzzler. Burning upto 700 litres of fuel per hour, the main reason airlines are phasing out these A340s and replacing them with a much economic version i.e. the A350s and the B787s. Sadly, even Etihad will phase out their remaining A340s by October. Lucky enough to get one while we were Airside for Air Canada B789. Seen here is Etihad Airways A340-600, A6-EHI starting up her Rolls Royce Trent 556-61s for her departure back to Abu Dhabi.
