Sitting among cabbage fields north of Manston Airfield former RAF Short Belfast XR369 'Spartacus' is still in basic RAF Transport Command livery, with no indication of it's allocated civil registration G-BEPL. She would complete one more flight, to Hucknall Airfield Nottinghamshire, from where she had been scrapped for spare parts, the most valuable being the Rolls-Royce Turboprop engines, by July 1979.
