Low res early morning Winter Wing View from the Port side of Lufthansa Boeing 707-330B D-ABUH Cn 18930, rolling out on the Frankfurt EDDF runway on 23Dec1973. (Light levels were abysmally low!) The flaps are fully down, and one spoiler is still deployed. The Darmstadt Airbase is visible at the horizon, with USAF C-130 aircraft visible. D-ABUH, Named 'City of Dortmund', was delivered to Lufthansa on 19Jan1966. This aircraft was my transport on my first International trip: (Melbourne), Sydney, Singapore, Bangkok, Karachi, Frankfurt, (Hamburg) over 22/23Dec1973. This was the popular A$699 return fare to Europe (requiring a stay of 6 weeks).
