Low Res vertical aspect view of the preserved trailer-mounted nose of RAAF C-47B A65-111 Cn 33304 (Serial 44-76972), at Avalon YMAV on 06Feb2003. This aircraft, Delivered in June 1945, (VH-RFY), was Withdrawn From Use (WFU) during Oct 1972, and was damaged by fire on 10Apr1974. This Nose section was salvaged and restored by David Anderson and mounted on a trailer as a mobile display. A ‘Mirage 2000N’ image was intended to be my 2000th upload Accepted by Jetphotos.net. However, an unexpected immediate screening of an ‘Auto Hot’ Upload (Registration not already in JP database) resulted in this image of RAAF C-47B A65-111 becoming my 2000th photo.
