Notes:

SA286 on final approach operated by one of 9 A340-600s in the South African fleet. This was one of those hazy days but with strong sun and very nice light. I think the great light compensates for the reduced visibility. It is actually often much worse than this outside of the summer in terms of visibility.

After visiting Victorville (KVCV), Edwards AFB (KEDW), Mojave (KMHV), Lancaster (KWJF) and Palmdale (KPMD), we drove for about two hours all the way down to San Bernardino to catch the Lockheed L-1011 Tristar N140SC, which flew earlier on that day for maintenance! This Airbus A340-642 of South African Airways was a nice surprise, stored since Feb 2020
