[1600px] Typhoon Megi has turned yet another plane away from TPE and into HKG, this time EVA's newest B777-300ER. She flew over the Taiwan strait to Hong Kong after being in a holding pattern for two hours and a failed attempt to land at Taipei after flying down from Beijing as BR715. She had been in the air for over 7 hours by the time she landed in HKG from what was a short 3 hour hop.
