Australians commemorated the 101st Anzac Day on 25 April 2016. In Canberra, the Anzac Day Parade and Marchpast was at the Australian War Memorial (AWM), with the Prime Minister and CDF present. After the playing of the Last Post, three RAAF F/A-18B Hornets from Williamtown NSW performed this Formation Flypast - over Parliament House, Anzac Parade, the AWM and Mt Ainslie. Formation shown in front of New Parliament House (flying to the Stbd side of the Flagpole), in sunny conditions. The jet efflux is ‘melting’ the base of the Flagpole, and the Parliament House façade. Number 2 Fighter Operational Conversion Unit (2OCU) F/A-18B Hornet A21-112 leads at centre with a A21-109 at left and A21-1xx at right.
