The Buchon, transported to Wanaka for WOW 2016 by John Romain of the Aircraft Restoration Company (ARC) at Duxford UK, was also expertly flown by John during the three-day airshow. This aircraft, the major ‘Drawcard’ for the Airshow, featured prominently on the cover of the Airshow Program. This HA1112 MIL Buchon has a Rolls Royce Merlin 500-45 engine installed.
