Notes:

‘Museum of Flight’ F-18L Mock-up Instrument Panel. This F-18L nose section is part of a two-seat mock-up (Marked as 02) made by Northrop Corporation to demonstrate a proposed version of the ‘Light-weight’ land-based F-18L Hornet to its customers in 1979. However, by late 1979 Northrop had ceased work on the F-18L, and most export orders were taken by the General Dynamics F-16 or the McDonnell Douglas F/A-18. It is now a ‘Sit-In’ exhibit, with ‘Instrument Groups’ marked in colour on a Perspex overlay. Photo of the Front Instrument Panel taken at the Museum of Flight (MOF) at Boeing Field Renton, (KBFI) Tukwila, Seattle, on 31Jul2015.
