This was the first time this aircraft type had been seen in the West. This Yak-141 is now on display at the Russian Air Force Museum at Monino, near Moscow. (Unless it is a victim of reported Demolitions at Monino. The Tu-144 Supersonic transport and the Antonov An-22 Antei were reported as already scrapped on site. The Museum was scheduled for permanent closure in July 2016.)
