Militärflugplatz Meiringen-Unterbach is seen here from the summit of Brienz Rothorn shortly after morning practice for Fliegerschiessen Axalp 2015 had finished. Resident Super Pumas can be seen on the flight-line to the left in front of their glazed hangars, and at centre-top of the valley can be seen the secluded F-18 cave hangars. The diagonal taxiway leading down from them is available for parking and the entire station aside from the main site and the cave hangar area is accessible to the public.
