Notes:

736 Naval Air Sqn is the Royal Navy’s maritime aggressor unit, flying the Hawk T.1 in the threat simulation role. The squadron succeeded the Fleet Requirements and Air Direction Unit in 2013, the Navy requiring a fully-operational Naval squadron to work up a cadre of pilots for the F-35 Lightning. One of its Hawks is seen here transiting through the Mach Loop. This was the first aircraft to receive the full set of squadron markings and codes. (400th)
