Notes:

One of the slickest amphibians ever built, and one of the overlooked gate-guards in Bangladesh. Two of these birds were purchased by the then Govt. of Pakistan in 1960; this one being assigned to East Pakistan Rifles. She suffered a belly landing at Ishwardi in 1966 (the damage to the keel is evident to this day). Although the damage was repairable, it was not executed and consequently she was struck off the Pakistan aircraft register in 1970.After independence, she was returned to the then BDR (now BGB) in 1975. Special thanks to Dr.Taimor Nawaz, son of the late Capt.Mr.Aminur Rahman (Chief Pilot of East Pakistan Government Flight.) for providing me detailed info about the bird.
