Notes:

This pair of former-MK Airlines freighters has been gradually deteriorating at Kemble for a number of years. Resident scrap dealers Air Salvage International appear to have commenced dismantling them in recent weeks. MKGA was the first cargo 747 to be built. It was left unpainted to save weight and maximise cargo capacity.

So sad to see. Many a happy hour spent in these girls! I miss MK and my MK family.

I was privileged to captain this aircraft with its JTD9 70A engines. Beautiful sound and a joy to fly. Miss you and miss MK.

Had the pleasure to be a flight engineer on this beauty
