Port side (Pilot’s) view of the Crew Module Flight Deck of RAAF F-111C A8-148 Cn D1-24, displayed at Fighter World Williamtown (YWLM) on 10May2014. Photo taken (without Flash) after a Museum staff member kindly opened the crew hatch of this Crew Module (which is still installed in A8-148). The Museum has since had an ‘Open Cockpits Day’, following the lead of several aviation museums in UK. This Vintage F-111C had its First Flight at General Dynamics Fort Worth on 22Oct1968. This was the Last F-111C acquired in the initial batch of 24 aircraft. (Ref: ADF-Serials.)
