The lead of "WAKE 21 Flight" climbing off of 16R just ahead of his wingman. They are part of VMA-211 known as the "Wake Island Avengers" and the "Bastion Defenders", based at MCAS Yuma, AZ. VMA-211 was the squadron that was the victim of the horrible attack by insurgents on Camp Bastion in Afghanistan on September 14, 2012. Their Commanding Officer was killed, six AV-8B+ Harriers were destroyed and two others severely damaged.
