As VIP aircraft of the Government of the Peoples’ Republic of Bulgaria, first noted September 10 1978 in Sofia. Officially for the Bulgarian Air Force, however appeared in full BALKAN livery for a long time. May 1989 transferred to BALKAN – Bulgarian Airlines. Seen in full Palair Macedonian Airlines livery on May 12 1991 in Zurich with Bulgarian registration. When back from Palair, painted into white with BALKAN – Bulgarian Airlines titles, but never seen in full BALKAN colours again. Archived here as arriving from 13R (landing from 31L) and taxies into her stand on the cargo ramp (?!). May 24-25 2011 sunk her into the Black Sea near Varna, Bulgaria, so nowadays serves as underwater (diver) attraction in 20 m depth. Scanned from an old slide.
