First flight October 23 1990, delivered BALKAN – Bulgarian Airlines November 7 as LZ-BOA, making the first country in the Eastern Block operated the type. Seen here on the tarmac of Terminal 1, which complex was serving non-MALEV – Hungarian Airlines international flights at that time, for a while. It was the time also, Delta Airlines flew to Budapest with Boeing 727-200s to connect the Hungarian capital with the Frankfurt-New York flights, before DL TriStars – later A310-300s inherited from PA – made that route direct between New York and Budapest. December 9 2000 to Rio-Sul of Brazil as PT-SSN. Stored May 2006. August 3 2006 to Avolar Aerolineas of Mexico as XA-AVO, where she retired from. Stored October 2008. Scanned from an old slide.
