And there it is.... My 1000th photo in Jetphotos.net database. A personal best milestone for me in all aspects, and what an airframe to make it for me! THE QUEEN OF THE SKIES, BOEING 747. KLM 871 arriving from Amsterdam International Airport and docking at the gates at Delhi Airport. She is christened as Hongkong/City of Hongkong.

It all started for me back on March 24, 2010 when I placed my hands on my first DSLR camera, the Canon 1000D with a very basic 75-300mm lens. Then started the Jetphotos.net journey with all the reject and accept experiences. Am glad that after 4 years, I have reached the 4-figure mark on Jetphotos.net.

At this moment, I would like to take the time and space to thank the one person without whom I would not be here. Hey Aalok Gaitonde, I take this juncture and opportunity to thank you for your time and effort spent towards helping me with Aviation Photography, Basics of editing using Photoshop, and taking time to edit my first set of pictures. Those 4 months shall never be forgotten and its because of that I am here today! So thank you and I owe this to you mate!!!

I also would like to thank my guru, mentor, philosopher, and guide Photoyogi Praveen Sundaram for helping me with everything over this journey. The thanks also extends to all the spotters in India who have supported me and appreciated my pictures. Thank you very much once again and this is a very proud moment for me

Lastly, this picture is dedicated to Barad Karthik Kumarwho is a fan of KLM planes.
