Close up Stbd side view of the nose of near-new Virgin Blue Airlines B737-8BK VH-VOB Cn 30622 at Tullamarine Melbourne on 16Dec2004. The aircraft was Delivered on 28Mar2002, and started out with an ‘Oz Flying Lady’ Named ‘Blue Belle’. By Dec2004 she had been renamed ‘Matilda Blue’. Note the shiny red livery, painted over a previously white airframe, with some flaking paint at the radome /nose interface. The livery had deteriorated significantly by late 2011. This aircraft was removed from the Australian Register on 15Mar2012, and was Registered in South Korea as HL8260 the same day.
