Notes:

The Highlight of the 2012 Farnborough Airshow flying displays on the two public days was Avro Vulcan G-VLCN / XH558. The Vulcan’s display was the last on the Flying Program on both days. On Sunday 15Jul2012, the ‘Spirit of Great Britain’ took off from Rwy 24 into dark threatening skies, but momentarily caught a glint of light while turning back to the crowd. The moment ‘made my day’. The last time I saw a Vulcan fly was Sister-Ship XH559 at the RAAF 50th Anniversary Airshow at Laverton, Victoria, Australia on 18April1971.
