The beautiful retro jet taxiing out for departure. Well, my encounter with her is a certainly interesting one. Whilst choosing to fly to ICN via BKK, I had the option of taking the afternoon flight (TG414) or the night flight (TG410) and I strangely opted for the afternoon one with a long layover in BKK. My a/c was then subsitituted a few days before departure from a 772 to a 333 and on the day itself, I was happy to know I would be flying on HS-TEL, Thai's Star-Allianced A330. Upon arrival in Bangkok and with some swift checks with sources in Singapore, I realized that the night flight was upgauged to a 747 and the plane was indeed HS-TGP, Thai's retro jet. So close yet so far.
