Libya Crises :- Libya Crises :- One of the various diversions we had during the thousands of Close Air Support missions being flown by Nato. Seen here is one pair of Mirage 2000 carrying a pair of MBDA - MICA Infra Red (heat seeking) air to air missiles on the outer pylons which are a derivative of the Matra Super 530D radar guided air to air missiles, seen on the inner pylons. In this case, one of the aircraft's refuelling probe tip, had broken off during an unsuccsessful "hook up" and landed in emergency for repairs.
