A view of Dubai Airport after taking off from rwy 12R outbound to ZRH on EK B773. Both rwys can be seen and on the far right the Dubai Air Wing terminal and on its left a few remote stands for EK aircrafts, then under construction is T4, a second terminal dedicated to EK and under construction, then T3 which hosts still quite un bunch of EK aircrafts, then T1 which is linked to T3 and then again on the far left are more remote stands. Opposite is the main cargo ramp with T2 (most of the low costs and flights to Irakand Afghanistan and a few to Pakistan, India and Iran along with Flydubai). Then right of T2 is another cargo ramp, then the General Aviation ramp followed by EK hangars. And finally in the far back is the city of Sharjah. Since I left the UAE, I really must say that I do miss Dubai...

What a lovely and detailed overview shot Paul. Well done and thank you for sharing your knowledge of DXB. I will also miss seeing your lovely pics from DXB. I have a couple of friends who used to live and work in Dubai and they also say same as you that they still miss that place after years since leaving. I also didn't know that huge structure was the Dubai Air Wing terminal. I guess it just about enough for them!!! Thanks once again for the lovely shot.
