The RAAF retired the remaining F-111 aircraft in December 2010, after 37 years Service from 1973. The type was replaced by F/A-18F Super Hornets. RF-111C A8-126 flew the last RAAF Airshow F-111 displays at Williamtown on 18/19Sep2010. Photo shows a 'Top-side View' of the finale Dump and Burn in dark overcast conditions on Sunday 19Sep2010, after A8-126 did a flaming 'touch and go' on Williamtown's Rwy 12. (This aircraft has two wing flap panels missing!). The F-111 and its unique Dump and Burn display is now consigned to history. It will be missed, especially by aviation photographers!
