Notes:

Close cropped front view of ex-RAAF CA-25 Winjeel painted as A85-404, appropriately Registered ZK-WJL on approach (long finals) to Wanaka's Rwy 29 on 04Apr2010. The 'Young Eagle' is Port wing low, countering a gusting Southerly cross-wind. Photo taken after a massed flying display at Warbirds Over Wanaka (WOW) 2010. The aircraft wears 'Fanta Can' Orange/White/Silver livery, and the wheels are 'Down and Welded'. The aircraft is powered by a 450 HP Pratt and Whitney Wasp Junior engine. On 25Jan1971, I flew from Williamtowm NSW to Bankstown in Sister-ship A85-411 operated by 4 Flight (FAC). The return trip was in Winjeel A85-426, returning from Contractor maintenance. Thanks Bruce for letting me fly the Winjeel that day.
