I believe it's the first pic of an EK 727 on jp. Sorry about the obstruction, backlit and poor quality but that's all I have! Delivered new to Dubai Government in 1982 and also one of the very last 727 built. After EK it served with Qatar AW and then went to be a freighter with DHL in USA. Now reported to be stored since late 2009. I also flew on this in Dec 1990 from DXB to DAC via KHI. This pic also shows that DAC is one of the oldest routes of EK. If I remember correctly at the time it used to be a single daily flight on a 727 via Karachi. Now it's twice daily non stop flights on 773s plus other selected days with a total of over 18 flights per week.

Don't worry about the obstructions this is still a great shot, thanks for sharing.
Great catch Aziz, certainly a rare one !!..... Nik
EK started because they needed flights to Bangladesh, India and Pakistan to bring manpower to DXB. Therefore DAC was in the first few destinations. Amazing photo this one. Thanks for sharing it.
