Casting her reflection on the waterlogged ground, HL7465 is seen here coming in over the perimeter fence on short final with the maintenance hangars at Hatton Cross below and to the right. As busy as this green can get on sunnier days (Click Here to view), it can often be fairly desolate on overcast or rainy days. Of course, those days can also have their highlights! Situated at the end of Myrtle Avenue, the green can easily be reached by a few minutes walk westwards from the tube and bus station at Hatton Cross. At time of writing this is the #1 location for arrivals to 27L where focal lengths of between 50-200mm (non full-frame DSLRs) will accommodate aircraft sizes from biz-jets through to A340-600s.
