Notes:

RAAF Dakota (C-47B, Cn 26640) A65-64, lacking a rudder and elevators, survives at RAAF Base Wagga in 1987. This 'Gooney Bird' was delivered to the RAAF in Dec 1944 (Callsign VH-CUU, ex USAAF 43-49379), and was retired in Dec 1979. I flew in Sister-Ship A65-65 From Williamtown to Richmond (and return) on 18Nov70 for Decompression Chamber Training. The aircraft has since been moved to Tocumwal NSW and arrived at the Mulwala RSL Club, NSW, in October 2004, where it is pole-mounted. Low res photo. Apologies for quality of this 1987 photo.
