The aircraft, Named 'Tullana' is still displayed outdoors in 2016. (Parts of RAAF Meteors A77-707 and A77-867 are visible at right.) History: This C50-DO DC-3-396 was Impressed into USAAF 31Jul1941 as 41-7698 ex American Airlines NC33657. To US Army 5th AF Australia 17Sep1942 as "North Nikka". Loaned to 36 Sqn RAAF as VH-CDJ "Waltzing Matilda" 28Jun1943, later "Winnie" and returned to USAAF 28Apr1944. To Australian Civil Registry as VH-CDJ for Guinea Airways 16May1944. Re-Registered VH-ANH 12May1946. To ANA as "Tullana" 01Jul1946, becoming Ansett-ANA Oct 1957. To Airlines of South Australia 1961, later Victoria Air Coach and again Ansett-ANA 1963.
