A New Boomerang! Both of Matt Denning's creations flew in formation at Temora in October 2009. New CA-12 Boomerang VH-XBL (Code LB-L/A46-63) is shown taxying in after a formation flight with Suzy-Q (VH-MHR/ MH-R/ A46-122). VH-XBL is owned by Jim Whalley of Adelaide. Jim's Father flew the same aircraft in operations from Horn Island, Cape York in March 1943 during WWII. This Australian designed and built Type is a regular participant in Temora Aviation Museum Flying Days.
