All that is left of what was a bustling commercial airport just a few years ago. The airport is being turned into housing, but the tower and a few hangars still stand. American at one point flew DC-10s on AUS-DFW from this location. Hard to picture a DC-10 touching down where a house now stands. I hear the tower will stay as a monument.
