This shot is my 500th photo to be accepted here on Jetphotos, and what better to mark it with than a photo of the gracious Avro Vulcan XH558. To all the people I've met and friends I've made in this hobby; perticularly Dan Irvine and Tom Gautier for accompanying me on many a trip and the latter as well as Paul Nichols for all their help along the way, Thanks guys! XH558 is in search of a new home, Vulcan To The Sky Trust announced that their lease at Doncaster Sheffield Airport wouldn’t be renewed and that XH558 would have to leave the site by the end of June 2023, since then the aircraft has been left outside whilst its owners search for a new home
