28th BW. "Six turning four burning" These aircraft thundered over the Vancouver area in the fifties at high altitude back and forth to Alaska from Fairchild, Larson, Castle, Carswell. It was the first USAF longrange heavy bomb load aircraft. 10,000 lbs of Fat Man and 10,000 miles airborne. Very important deterrent in the early part of the Cold War.
