Built in 1953, the first year for this model. On April 17, 1964 Jerrie Mock became the first woman ever to fly around the world - 23,100 miles - and did it in this plane. Afterward, she never flew this plane again and returned it to Cessna, who put it on display in Wichita until donating it to the NASM in 1975.
