Notes:

This 747 was damaged on landing at Lagos in December 2003. It was written off and has laid there rotting away since then. Finally, this year they have started to break it up. However, it's taking a long time to kill off this old bird. Even though the tail has been chopped off, the engines are still in situ. Perhaps they cut off the tail before removing the engines, so that it does not tilt back when they are taken off.
