This T-1 (call sign Tonto 57) is seen arriving for RIAT in the Thursday before the show weekend. It is from the 99 Flying Training Sqn, US Air Education and Training Command; the type is used by the USAF for training cargo and tanker pilots. The Jayhawk is the military version of the Raytheon 400 business jet, which originated as the Mitsubishi Diamond before Beech bought the production rights in the early ‘eighties.
