Notes:

The Saudi Arabian maintenance area on the other side of the terminal buildings across the runway. This only seems to handle 747 and A300s. During my 25+ visits to this airport I have never seen an MD90 or B777 there. The two 747s seems to be stored there at least since April 2005. They were still there on my last visit in early February 2006. Both of them reported to be ex Kuwait AW machines, 9K-ADB and 9K-ADD. The Afghan A300 was a visitor but could not get the reg. Note the ponds in front of the hanger doors. Taken from Qatar A330, A7-AFL while departing to Doha from runway 15L a few minutes before sunset.
