Cherokee based at St. Barts ditched near the SUNSET BEACH BAR short of runway 09 Dec. 30th 2006. The pilot survived without serious injury. The plane was salvaged the 6th. and towed through the Simpson Bay Lagoon drawbridge and brought ashore near the airport.

You beat me to the upload by ONE day! Arghhh! Nice photo though! Did you notice the interior looked to be stripped for cargo carrying? When I checked it out there were already locals suspiciously hanging around the aircraft (probably waiting for me to leave so they could steal parts).
