What an awesome sight! It took only 9 seconds for the old ATL tower to fall, with great precision and only one explosive charge. The top cab came tumbling off almost immediately. I will post a video and a full sequence of the tower falling on my website

Sad to see the old tower go. I will miss it. You are very lucky to have seen it go. I just hope that it doesn't fall on the trailer off to the left.

Sad to see this tower have to come down. I remember every time we flew into ATL, that was the one I always saw and pretty much was used to until the new one started appearing. It served its purpose well.
