Hediye, this was a government flight. A Turkish minister (don't know who) was here in Brazil for some meetings. This aircraft passed here in Brasilia (BSB / SBBR) and in Sao Paulo (GRU / SBGR). I didn't spot the A340 because I was in Fortaleza that day. But the spotter Gustavo Kaufmann took some photos here in BSB. Does someone know what a THY is doing in Brasil?? They usually don't operate into Southern America. I really like to know what my favorite plane of my favorite airline was doing there. I'm really glad THY is expanding so fast. They added 42 destinations last week into their schedule. But Rio wasn't mentioned there. Great perspective, thank you Philippe :-D January 24, 2006
