What a rarity! The very first Surinamese-registered PC12, following in the footsteps of its exotic past as N243MF, 9S-EMF and 5Y-MAF. Barely a month after changing its registration, it is now passing through Switzerland, where it was manufactured 25 years ago, before heading for Afghanistan. PACTEC International is funded by the European Commission, through its Directorate General for Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection (ECHO) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). The airline officially operates scheduled and charter flights from Kabul for non-governmental organisations active in the country and their accompanying persons, as well as occasionaly for members of the Afghan government on humanitarian missions, and MEDEVAC flights.
