Scanned from a negative / Delivered to Turkish Airlines on 4th June 1968. This aircraft was hijacked on 3rd May 1972 while en route from Ankara to Istanbul and diverted to Burgas, Bulgaria, with 119 pax on board, and lasted two days before the terrorists were killed/arrested. Then with Valujet from 14th November 1994 as N926VV, re-registered as N937VV in August 1995, AirTran from September 1993 when airline was renamed. Broken up at Orland Intl, Fl, USA
